Terms of Service

Last updated: this is a placeholder. Real terms will be published before launch.

1. What ShiftRide is

ShiftRide is a matching service for UK shift workers offering or looking for lifts to and from work. We are not a transport operator. We do not sell rides, we do not handle payments, and we are not responsible for the conduct of users.

2. Who can use it

You must be 18 or over, have a verified UK mobile number on your profile, and (if you list yourself as a driver) hold a valid UK or EU driving licence and appropriate car insurance covering passengers contributing to running costs.

3. Account responsibility

Keep your sign-in credentials private. You are responsible for anything that happens on your account. Let us know straight away if you think someone else is using it.

4. Code of conduct

Be on time, be respectful, do not drive or travel under the influence, and follow UK road laws. Repeated thumbs-down ratings or reports may result in account suspension.

5. Subscription

Some features may be limited to subscribers. Subscription pricing and terms appear on the /subscribe screen and can be cancelled at any time.

6. Liability

ShiftRide is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for losses arising from rides arranged via the platform.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified inside the app before they take effect.
